Welcome to Fall! If you’re already going through Summer withdrawal, have no fear. The weather is still sunny and there is no let up on lots of great activities all over LA! We highly recommend Natalia Clavier’s show on Monday with Irene Diaz. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is celebrating their 10th anniversary with lots of free concerts pairing the LA Phil with special guests, including Las Cafeteras on Thursday and Herbie Hancock, La Santa Cecilia and the Youth Orchestra LA on Sunday! Thursday, my friends in the band Nobel Creatures are playing a free show to promote the last week of their Kickstarter campaign…check them out! This weekend is also the annual Watts Tower Drum & Jazz Festival, GLOW in Santa Monica, the Abbott Kinney Music Festival and the 15th Anniversary of the Turntables on the Hudson at theLIFT party. We’ll leave you with Las Cafeteras’ dreamy song Luna Lovers…they just returned from Miami after winning a contest to open for Juanes and we can’t wait to hear the magic they’re going to create with the LA Phil!
